Installation

This page describes installation for the private beta .rbz package of Projection Sketcher.

Before installation

Confirm that you are using:

  • Windows 11 Business 25H2
  • SketchUp Desktop 25.1.256 64-bit

The beta documentation does not claim macOS support.

Install the extension

  1. Obtain the current .rbz package from the internal beta distribution channel.
  2. Open SketchUp Desktop.
  3. Open the Extension Manager.
  4. Use the Extension Manager installation workflow to install the .rbz package.
  5. Restart SketchUp if requested.
  6. Confirm that the DimmyTree toolbars are available.

Update the extension

  1. Uninstall the previous beta version through SketchUp Extension Manager.
  2. Restart SketchUp if required.
  3. Install the new .rbz package.
  4. Confirm the toolbars and core commands are available.

Uninstall the extension

Use SketchUp Extension Manager to uninstall the extension. If SketchUp asks for restart, restart before validating the removal.
