This page explains the first steps for using Projection Sketcher during the private beta.

Beta status

The extension is distributed as a private .rbz package for internal field testing. It is free during the beta phase, does not require a license key, and is not yet published through SketchUp Extension Warehouse.

Supported environment

  • Windows 11 Business 25H2
  • SketchUp Desktop 25.1.256 64-bit
  • SketchUp Desktop only
  • macOS is not currently tested

First steps

  1. Install the private beta .rbz package.
  2. Confirm that the DimmyTree Utilities and DimmyTree Utilities toolbars are visible.
  3. Add your first projector.
  4. Review the functions overview to see which functions are beta, planned, or excluded.

Accuracy notice

This product is in the test phase. Verify the accuracy and correctness of results by consulting an AV expert. Manufacturer-published specifications are used where available, but no warranty for data accuracy is implied.
