How to add the toolbar

This article explains how to enable the Projection Sketcher toolbars in SketchUp Desktop on Windows.

Supported environment

  • Windows 11 Business 25H2
  • SketchUp Desktop 25.1.256 64-bit

Steps

  1. Confirm that Projection Sketcher is installed. If not, follow Installation.
  2. In SketchUp, open the View menu.
  3. Select Toolbars.

  1. In the Toolbars dialog, select the Toolbars tab.
  2. Enable <var>toolbar_name_primary</var> and <var>toolbar_name_secondary</var> if they are available.
  3. Close the Toolbars dialog.

If the toolbar is not visible

  • Check other monitors if you use a multi-monitor setup.
  • Check whether the toolbar is small because Large Icons are disabled.
  • Restart SketchUp after installation or update if the toolbar entries do not appear.
